While most people use the terms antiperspirant and deodorant interchangeably, the two are not the same.
Antiperspirant contains aluminum salts. Deodorants do not. Antiperspirants containing aluminum, work to stop completely perspiration from occurring. Deodorants do not contain aluminum. Deodorants allow perspiration. They work to kill the bacteria that causes odor when we perspire.
